my argument on the haast road.

I think that they should put a road from Haast to Milford sound instead of going right down to Queenstown.

If you add a road there will be more tourist and it will be much easier to get to.

Haast is a beautiful place but it takes 10 hours and 22 minutes from Greymouth to Milford sound and to Haast to Milford sound now is 6 hours and if they add the road it will be 1 hour and a half that is much better than 6 hours.

Haast Hollyford Highway Limited said the latest estimate was that the project would cost $250m.

Having a road would be so much easier to get there to look at the wonderful view.

This would be very good for tourists as the tourists will be able to get there quicker.

Hopefully i have convinced you to that we should build that road no matter how much it costs.

bird of the year

I have voted for the TakahÄ“ for the bird of the year because this bird is in serious trouble and it is a beautiful bird if you would like to vote, go to this website https://www.birdoftheyear.org.nz/  and vote on a bird that you would like to save. Every vote counts.

the bombing of the rainbow warrior

In 1985 10 July french secret agents put two bombs in the rainbow warrior and sunk it.Of the twelve people on board one died when he attempted to retrieve his equipment. The boat was refloated to Auckland harbor.

I don't think the French should've bombed them it was not a nice thing to do and a person got killed.

The boat was sunk just before midnight. Two of the six bombers were found. The others escaped.

Almost a year after the bombing, on 8 July 1986, United Nations Secretary-General Javier Perez de Cuellar announced, in a binding decision, that New Zealand would receive an apology and paid of $13 million from France.

Here is a picture of the ship.

the 1981 springbok rugby

For 56 days new Zealanders were divided against each other in the largest civil disturbance.
I am against the separation of white and black people.

I think black people should have been able to play rugby with white people.

ski trip reflection

On Monday i went to temple basin for a ski trip We were in the deep snow walking up a mountain bit by bit.

The walk took an hour and a half then we eventually got up to where our gear was.We got our gear and started walking up to the lodge it took for ages to get my gear up because it was a big suitcase. Then we got our lunch and went skiing.I was one of the few that had been skiing before. My ski boots were not as bad as I thought they would be.Skiing was awesome fun we had to go on a nutcracker to get to the top of the mountain I got the nut cracker solved in ten minutes. Then we finished and played table tennis. Then we went to sleep. The next day we got up and packed our gear up Then we went skiing again. This time we did a train and we basically had to follow the leader. We also did some jumps and I got some air Then we headed back down the mountain it was harder this time because I keep falling over.
Then we headed back to school and it went fast because everyone was really tired.

rock climbing and absailing

we started at 9.00 driving to the polytech to meet our guides and we played a game and then started driving to Charleston. Then we got our helmets and then walked the walk.I got to the top and it was the most beautiful sight. The waves were crashing do, the cliffs were high and the beaming sun shining down on us.It was wonderful and I was not scared even a little I was excited. We got our harness and away we went.we split our group in half and the group I was with was Tess Malia Chloe Caitlyn and I  first we did a practice abseil on a little hill to get hang of it and then did the real thing.I went over that cliff and it was so fun I got to the bottom and I was very proud.

Then we did the rock climbing it was very fun. The first bit was challenging but I got through it and made it all the way to the top and then came back down it was so fun and that was the end of that, and I would love to do it again and again and again.
