Noel, what is it.

What is Noel Christmas Day is an annual festival to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ.Most commonly celebrated on December 25th as a religious and cultural celebration among billions of people around the world.At around midnight, French families eat a special meal to celebrate the very beginning of Christmas Day.Public life on Christmas Day is generally very quiet. Post offices, banks, stores, restaurants, cafes and other businesses are closed. However, some stores at airports, railway stations, and major highways, may be open. Christmas meals might include roast turkey with chestnuts or roast goose, oysters, lobster, venison, and cheeses.the french word for Christmas dinner is reveille. BY Mya and Sophie
