What is Noel Christmas Day is an annual festival to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ.Most commonly celebrated on December 25th as a religious and cultural celebration among billions of people around the world.At around midnight, French families eat a special meal to celebrate the very beginning of Christmas Day.Public life on Christmas Day is generally very quiet. Post offices, banks, stores, restaurants, cafes and other businesses are closed. However, some stores at airports, railway stations, and major highways, may be open. Christmas meals might include roast turkey with chestnuts or roast goose, oysters, lobster, venison, and cheeses.the french word for Christmas dinner is reveille. BY Mya and Sophie

Mya and I's ginger bread men recipe

Gingerbread men 2-2½ cups plain flour ½ tsp baking soda 1 Tbsp ground ginger 1 cup (220g) firmly packed Soft Brown Sugar 150g butter 1 egg, beaten ½ cup Icing lollies and decoration Cookie cutter Method Preheat oven to 180°C. Line 2 baking trays with baking paper. 3. Sift flour, baking soda and ginger together and place in a bowl. 4. Add Soft Brown Sugar using a measuring cup. 5. Softened butter 6. Put butter in microwave and rub in with fingertips until it feels like fine breadcrumbs. 7. Add egg and stir. If the dough is too sticky, add a little more flour to the mix and wrap in cling wrap. Refrigerate for half an hour. 8. Roll out on lightly floured surface or between 2 sheets of baking paper until 5mm thick, using cookie cutters, cut shapes and place on tray. 9. Form leftover dough into a ball and reroll and repeat cutting out until all the dough is used up. 10. Bake gingerbread men for 8-10 minutes or until cooked and golden. Remove from oven and cool on baking rack. 11. Enjoy or add icing/decorations

the mysterious man

Ring ring ring ring the phone wakes me up at 12 Am I  dragged myself out of bed picked up the phone and realized it was a voice I hadn’t heard before.Oh yeah I forgot to introduce myself i’m Sophie and i’m 17 years old. I have a dog cat and a horse (also known as my annoying little sister.) Anyway the voice sounded rough and deep it said “I have your sister if you want her back bring 1 million dollars” I thought how am I supposed to get this type of money even if she is my annoying little sister.But if I wanted her back I would have to, but how? I stuttered and didn’t say anything.All I could think about was what I was going to do, who was this person? Things like this only happens in the movies,not to me.I said “where do I meet you”.He said “meet me at the park and do not tell anyone or you will regret it.He hung up.I could not believe it,I couldn’t sleep either. After the worst night ever worrying about where she was and what he’s doing  to her.

I packed my stuff,I had a plan...
